For Slack

Dictate into Slack with speakeasy..

speakeasy. is Mac only today (Apple Silicon, macOS 14+). The download won't run on this device.

Slack messages stack up. Hold a key, say the reply the way you'd say it out loud, release — speakeasy. types it into the message box while you stay in flow.

Setup in three steps

  1. Download speakeasy. for Mac and open it — or build from source with your own Groq key.
  2. Grant microphone and accessibility permissions when macOS asks.
  3. Put your cursor in Slack's message box, hold Right Option, speak, release.

Keep Polish at minimal for chat: it keeps your natural tone while removing the ums and repeated words.

The target must be an ordinary editable text field. If automatic paste isn't available, the widget keeps your text on the clipboard and tells you to paste.
