For Codex
Dictate into Codex with speakeasy..
speakeasy. is Mac only today (Apple Silicon, macOS 14+). The download won't run on this device.
Codex works from the prompt you give it. Speaking lets you describe the repo state, the change, and what to avoid in one go — the kind of detail that is tedious to type.
Setup in three steps
- Download speakeasy. for Mac and open it — or build from source with your own Groq key.
- Grant microphone and accessibility permissions when macOS asks.
- Put your cursor in Codex's prompt box, hold Right Option, speak, release.
Set Polish to balanced: it removes filler and tidies punctuation while it is designed to preserve names and numbers, like file names and identifiers.
The target must be an ordinary editable text field. If automatic paste isn't available, the widget keeps your text on the clipboard and tells you to paste.
