For Claude Code
Dictate into Claude Code with speakeasy..
speakeasy. is Mac only today (Apple Silicon, macOS 14+). The download won't run on this device.
Claude Code runs in your terminal, and the best results come from prompts that explain context, constraints and done-ness. Dictating lets you say all of it instead of trimming the thought to fit your typing patience.
Setup in three steps
- Download speakeasy. for Mac and open it — or build from source with your own Groq key.
- Grant microphone and accessibility permissions when macOS asks.
- Put your cursor in Claude Code's terminal prompt, hold Right Option, speak, release.
Set Polish to balanced: it removes filler and tidies punctuation while it is designed to preserve names and numbers, like flags, paths and identifiers.
The target must be an ordinary editable text field. If automatic paste isn't available, the widget keeps your text on the clipboard and tells you to paste.
